Charles Paiement

President

The whole story of Le Within began years ago when Charles was studying abroad and absolutely hated his student accommodations. With no sense of community and having to share bedrooms and bathrooms, his experience left him with an urge to reinvent the student residence experience. Years later the opportunity arose, and he jumped on it. As President of the company, he has big responsibilities but don’t let that fool you; Charles is young at heart, always approachable and he’ll be more than happy to hear from you anytime! Once you’re moved in, keep an eye out for our Owners’ Events which are Charles’ way of saying thanks for being a part of this great community and to introduce you to all the members of the Le Within team.

Mathieu St-Jean

General Manager

Since graduating from HEC Montréal with a public accounting degree, Mathieu has worn many hats in the finance world notably with KPMG and Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton firms. As a member of the order of chartered professional accountants (CPA,CA) he worked many years developing financial models for strategic business planning helping companies reposition and grow. Throughout his many travels abroad, he discovered a true passion for real estate and design. The rest is history. Le Within is one such passion project that wouldn’t be the same without Mathieu’s keen eye for style and design. Although he’s a busy guy, you’ll see him frequently at Le Within as he can never stay away too long. Make sure to ask him what tv series he’s currently obsessed with!

Voytek Korab

Community Manager

Voytek got his start at a young age as a Customer Service Instructor with Air Canada. At the age of 27, after a 9 year stint at Canada’s largest airline, he left to pursue a career in restaurant management which led him to own and manage multiple restaurants of all different styles in Montréal. If that wasn’t enough experience, he also managed to tour the world as a musician for almost 10 years! His experience in dealings with people from all over the world coupled with his extensive understanding of customer service, the hospitality industry and his logical yet humorous approach to problem solving make him the perfect addition to lead the management team at Le Within. We’re sure you’ll agree when you meet him!

Rome wasn’t built in a day and neither was Le Within. We chose only the best of partners to help us shape Le Within to the highest standards and to reinvent the student residence experience.

Our multidisciplinary vision of architecture and branding creates experiences that go beyond form and function by integrating rich narratives. For Le Within, we built an immersive space that celebrates the duality between tradition and modernity, nature and urbanity.

It is rare in the industry to work with such high-quality materials and Le Within asked us to do just that. Renovating a historic building in such a manner was a great feat and we are proud to have risen to the challenge. We believed in Le Within from the ground up and are convinced it will be a highly successful endeavour !
